And you want to access them. This is done here too.

The First Thing Is To Create An Audience (A List)

The First Thing Is To Create An Audience (List Of People)

If you haven’t had the list already, it is better to start with that. What do we mean by an audience? It lists people interested in your business and has signed up on your website with their email addresses while visiting your website. What do you need this list for? Well, it is pretty obvious.

This list is exactly what you need to use Mailchimp. You can use this list to communicate with your customers.

You might not have a list. What should you do then? Don’t worry. Mailchimp makes it possible for you to start collecting your subscribers' emails. There are three ways to do so on Mailchimp. They include:

  1. Connect a Site,
  2. Add a Contact, and
  3. Create a Landing Page.

Connect A Site

Perhaps, you have already used some email marketing apps and tools, right? And, you have made your lists in them. Mailchimp makes it very easy for you to connect to the apps and tools you are currently using. In this way, you don’t have to create an email list from scratch again. Cool, right?

Add A Contact

This is another way of adding subscribers to your email list. You can do this manually by typing people's emails in specific boxes. You can assign different tags to each email and enter additional information such as location, birthday, and other relevant information you might have. All this information is important when it comes to marketing.

Create A Landing Page

Create A Landing Page

What is a landing page? And, what is the idea behind using it? Basically, landing pages are marketing tools. They make you able to get more customers and boost your conversion rate. Let me explain a bit more. Sometimes, you are searching on the internet and come across some advertisements.

You will get them in your search result or as a marketing promotion, email, or online advertisement. Landing pages are best used for lead generation. What is that? Lead generation happens when the customer gets interested in a product or service to form a specific brand. If you want to expand your email list or share the company's newsletter with your potential customers, you should go for lead generation.

Campaigns

Campaigns

This is another feature included in Mailchimp. You can create your Campaigns in many different ways. The type of Campaigns you can create are Emails, Automations, Landing Pages, Ads, Postcards, Social Posts, and Surveys. You can easily create them on your Campaigns page and get more visibility.

For example, you can use an Emails Type Campaign to design and send automated or regular emails to your contact. Or, What can you do with Automations? Sometimes, your visitors expect to be appreciated by you when they do something on your website. Sending a welcome email makes them sure you are caring about them. Or, even more interestingly, when it's one of your customer's birthdays, you will be able to wish them a Happy Birthday with a nice email.

In automation, we have another thing that you can usually do for your customers. For example, they start buying online from your website and suddenly get distracted by something and leave their purchase unfinished. With the Automation option in Mailchimp, you can easily let them know.

What else do you have here? In Postcards Type Campaigns, you can choose a specific date like Valentine's Day, Christmas, etc., and send a nice timely-related email. You can conduct surveys as well. This is how you can get to know what other people think about your brand, products and/or services.

Website

Website

Another item presented in your dashboard is the Website. Everything you need is there. First, you can design and customize your website very easily. Even if you are not an expert. There are plenty of drag-and-drop options available for you to make your website without coding. Then, depending on your business, you can start selling products or offering services. For each, you need special requirements. For example, for selling products, you need a store.

To create a store, you need to start with a product that takes 5 minutes to set up. Then, setting up payments and personalizing your site are followed. Now, you can sell your product. Or, perhaps, your offer services to people. For example, you are a business consultant, and people need to set up an appointment. You can do it here as well and start selling your services.

Integrations

Integrations

Many businesses are active on several different platforms. For example, you might sell your products or services on several eCommerce platforms. Or, you might use a different website builder like WordPress. So, it would be awesome to create an atmosphere where you can access all your platforms. When you are on Mailchimp, you can integrate all your other platforms as well.

If you are working with BigCommerce, Magento, Miva Merchant, Big Cartel, WooCommerce, Stripe, etc., as your E-commerce platforms, you will be able to connect them to your Mailchimp dashboard. Or, it's not important whether you are using Squarespace or WordPress. You can easily work with Mailchimp.
